FAFSA/CADAA workshop 12/02/2026
Posted Date: 11/04/26 (03:15 PM)
Hello Class of 2027!
Per California law, all seniors are required to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) or complete an opt out waiver prior to graduation. You need to provide proof of submission or a signed waiver to Mrs. Burke. Waivers are available in Mrs. Burke's office.
Have you completed your FAFSA or CADAA yet? This is the first step in qualifying for financial aid after high school. The priority deadline for opportunities like Cal Grant is March 2nd! The Counseling Department will be hosting a FAFSA/CADAA workshop on Wednesday December 2nd from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Willits High School Computer Lab Room 33. Bring your parent or guardian to receive step by step help with filling out and submitting your applications from bilingual financial aid professionals!
Students who will be submitting a FAFSA need to create a student aid account first. Their parent/guardian will need their own account as well. Go here to create an account: https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch
Don't know if you need to submit a FAFSA or a CADAA? Go to the WHS Financial Aid webpage to learn more: https://whs.willitsunified.com/238664_3
