CTE Computer Science Pathways
Willits High School offers two concentrations in the CTE Software and Systems Pathway: Robotics and Web Design and Development. Each concentration provides students of all ages with the academic and technical skills as well as the knowledge and training necessary to succeed in future careers, college and also to become lifelong learners. Students who focus on a pathway acquire the skills necessary for entry into well-paid careers with high potential for rapid financial growth, increased levels of responsibility, and a high degree of personal satisfaction.

Teacher Bio

Hello everyone! My name is Tracey Lewis and I teach all the courses in the Software and Systems Pathway.
I have been a high school teacher for 14 years. I taught math for the first 5 years, Algebra 1 & 2 and Geometry. Since then I have been teaching Digital Art and Programming courses, such as Graphic Design, Web Design, Python Programming, Java Programming, Mobile App Development, IT Essentials (computer repair and troubleshooting) and Networking.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Math at the University of Lowell, Massachusetts, a Master of Arts in Teaching at Georgia College, and a variety of post graduate certificates and credentials. I have also designed websites and ran a small business for 5 years.
My hobbies are camping, hiking, and backpacking long trails.
Fun Fact: I have hiked over 1000 miles of the Appalachian Trail (on the east coast)
