Scholarship Information

Hello Class of 2026!

The Willits Local Scholarship Program is up and running! What is it you ask? Only a great opportunity to earn multiple scholarships towards vocational/trade school, community college, or a 4-year college. That's right! I said MULTIPLE scholarships! Last year the Willits community organizations gave the graduating Class of 202​5 more than $60,000. Award amounts vary year to year but they want to help all of you on your path to success! So how do you apply?!

• Step 1. ​Check out the scholarship list to determine which local scholarships you are eligible for. Click here to view the scholarship list
• Step 2. Fill out ​the Willits Common Scholarship Application google form. You will be required to attach your resume, 2 letters of recommendation, and a copy of your most recent high school transcript. After you submit, you will receive an email with a pdf copy of your application. Click here to start your application
• *Helpful tip: Your progress might not save as you are working through ​the form so it might be a good idea to type essay responses into a google doc. That way, if you need to start over, you will be able to copy and paste them into the form and save yourself some time. ​ 
• Step ​3. Ask for help if you need it. Please make an appointment with M​s. Kyne BEFORE March ​27th if you need help.
• Step ​4. Submit your ​google form application(s) by ​Tuesday 3/​31/2025 by 11:59 p.m. 
• Step ​5. Plan to participate in Scholarship Interview Night on Thursday April 23rd from 5:00-8:00 p.m. You may also be contacted directly by different scholarship committees throughout April and May for phone or zoom interviews.
