About Willits High School
Tradition. Opportunity. Excellence.
Welcome to Willits High School, home of the Wolverines and proudly serving students in grades 9–12 since 1904. Located in the heart of Mendocino County, Willits High School combines a rich tradition with innovative learning opportunities to prepare students for success in college, careers, and life. Our motto, "Today Determines Tomorrow," reflects our commitment to helping every student build a strong foundation for their future.
At Willits High School, students have access to a wide range of academic pathways designed to meet their individual interests and goals. In addition to comprehensive college-preparatory coursework, students can explore Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways, participate in Dual Enrollment courses with Mendocino College, earn college credit while still in high school, and engage in visual and performing arts, agriculture, leadership, and numerous extracurricular activities. Our athletic programs, student organizations, and clubs provide opportunities for every student to connect, compete, and develop leadership skills.
Our dedicated educators and staff are committed to providing a challenging, caring, and safe learning environment where students are encouraged to become effective communicators, critical thinkers, problem solvers, and lifelong learners. We value strong partnerships with families and our community, believing that together we can inspire every student to achieve their fullest potential.
At Willits High School, we are preparing today's students to become tomorrow's leaders—ready to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
