AIS Scholarships:

  • 35 scholarships available in the amount of $10,000
  • Open to students enrolled in a university, college, junior college or technical school
  • Student must be One-Quarter (1/4) enrolled member of a Federally Recognized Native American Tribe

Youth on Course Scholarships:

  • More than 20 scholarships available 
  • Award amounts between $4,000-$20,000
  • Open to high school seniors enrolled in Northern California High Schools
  • Must have minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Scholarships are both need and merit based
  • Must be accepted for enrollment at a 4-year college/university
  • Do not need to be a member of youth on course but members and/or golfers will be given first priority

  • $1,000 or more award amount 
  • Open to high school seniors for students pursuing post secondary education in architecture

Mendocino County Farm Bureau Agriculture Scholarship

  • Open to students with a desire to start a career in the agricultural industry or in an Agricultural related field.

CANERS Foundation:

Cabrillo Civic Club Scholarship:

  • $500 award amount

  • Open to students of Portuguese descent

  • Students must be planning in enrolling in a community college or University

  • 3.5 GPA average or higher

  • Deadline to apply is March 15, 2017

Italian Catholic Federation (ICF):

  • $400

  • Open to high school seniors

  • Must have a total GPA of 3.2

  • Must be a Roman Catholic and of Italian descent or have a parent/guardian/grandparent as a member of the ICF

California Wine Grape Growers Foundation:

  • Multiple scholarship opportunities:

  • 2 four-year scholarships worth $8,000 each
  • 4 two-year scholarships worth $2,000 each
  • Open to high school seniors whose parents/guardians is/was an employee of a wine grape grower during the 2016-2017 season.

Sacramento Portuguese Historical and Cultural Society Scholarship:

  • Several scholarships available in amounts of $1,000 & $500

  • Open to graduating high school seniors of Northern California high schools.

  • Applicants must have:

    • Portuguese descendancy, Grade-point average of 3.0 or better

    • Applicants must submit one letter of Recommendation

    • Essay of minimum 300 words describing their Portuguese Heritage
